The Network Web booking detail rebuilt, coverage map for networks, and live activity on the tracking map
The booking detail in Network Web has been rebuilt tab by tab, so that scope, products, quotes, statuses, incidents and notes are all reviewed in a single modern view. The coverage map is now available for network back-office users, with eligibility results that only count the catalog that is actually on sale. The operations tracking map adds a recent activity panel, and attachments and tasks now look and behave the same across all applications.
Products updated: Admin · Network Web · Customer Web · Provider Web · Platform API
Booking detail rebuilt, tab by tab (Network Web)
NewThe booking record was redesigned so everything about a job is reviewed in one place.
- Header and basic information. The booking header and its core information were redesigned for faster reading, and the booking now shows its start time rather than only the date. Key details are visible without scrolling through the record.
- Scope, products and components. A new scope tab sets out what was agreed, and a redesigned tab lists the products and components attached to the booking with their quantities. Product delivery dates now read in the correct day everywhere they appear.
- Budgets, bundles and pricing. Budget and bundle tabs were redesigned and now build themselves from what is actually attached to the booking, alongside a clearer pricing view. Reviewing what was quoted and approved no longer means leaving the booking.
- Workflow statuses, incidents and notes. The workflow statuses tab reads as a timeline with approval steps and booked dates opening in place, incidents appear in their own tab, and notes were redesigned for quick capture. Additional information appears only for accounts that use dynamic forms, as a controlled rollout.
Coverage map for the network back-office (Network Web, Admin)
New- Coverage map in Network Web. Network coordinators now have the full coverage view: address, variant, weekday and time filters, applied-filter chips, map layers, zoom controls, a results panel and a card for the selected provider or child. The chosen filters are kept in the address bar, so a coverage query can be shared or returned to.
- Only catalogue that is actually on sale. Coverage results now count only active service variants, with an active service in at least one active category. A provider whose offering has been switched off no longer appears as covering an area.
- Clearer reasons when a provider is not eligible. The coverage screen handles additional ineligibility reasons and received a round of interface corrections, so it is easier to see why a provider was excluded from a result.
Recent activity on the operations tracking map (Admin)
New- A live panel beside the map. The operations tracking map now carries a recent activity panel, so changes on the ground are visible as they happen without reloading the view. Provider connection changes are summarised in plain language.
- Filter by activity type and keep it. Activity can be narrowed by type, and the chosen filters are kept in the address bar so the same view comes back next time. Items already read can be set aside to keep the panel focused on what is new.
- Consistent actions on provider cards. Provider and provider-user cards on the map now use the same action controls as the rest of the product, so moving between the panel and the map feels like one screen.
Attachments — one way to add files everywhere (Admin, Network Web, Customer Web, Provider Web)
Improved- The same attachment field in every form. Booking evidence, measurements, incidents, checklists, projects, budgets, leads, work orders, notes, task updates and dynamic form questions now all use the same attachment field. File limits and accepted types are applied consistently, whichever form you are in.
- Better previews before you save. Older preview panels were replaced with a single file preview, so images and documents can be checked, replaced or removed before submitting. Avatars and company images use the same control.
Tasks and task updates, unified (Admin, Network Web, Provider Web)
Improved- One task flow across leads, incidents and bookings. Creating and managing tasks now works the same way from leads, incidents, bookings and projects, with one shared form and one shared view of updates. A task raised in one area reads identically in another.
Dispatch and route planning reliability (Admin, Network Web, Platform API)
Improved- On-demand providers who have gone quiet. Providers whose on-demand availability has gone stale are now stood down automatically, so dispatch stops offering work to someone who is no longer reachable.
- No overlapping visits in optimised routes. Route planning now skips proposed visits that would overlap a booking already held for that provider, so an optimised day is workable as produced.
- Fewer blocking checks when taking a booking. Pending configuration checks for a provider are skipped in the cases where they were getting in the way of booking creation, and the bundle row action now opens the related booking detail directly.
Account settings and workflow editing (Admin, Platform API)
Improved- Safer workflow edits. Editing a workflow now checks the version you started from, so two people working at once cannot silently overwrite each other. Saving a workflow change is applied as one complete operation, leaving no half-saved definitions.
- Booking anticipation and telephony read from account settings. The default booking anticipation and the telephony-related settings are now read from the account configuration, so Admin reflects what each account is actually set up to do.
- Reactivating a currency. A currency that was switched off can now be switched back on, instead of having to be set up again from scratch.
Self-service bookings and work orders (Customer Web, Platform API)
Improved- Actions always land on the right booking. Cancelling a booking, confirming a proposed date and looking up a self-managed booking now identify the booking exactly, removing any chance of an action being applied to the wrong record.
- Work order references carried through. Work order screens now carry the work order reference through their components, and availability days, time ranges and available providers for a work order are requested with the right context. Booking tracking no longer relies on the old route.
Privacy and access control (Platform API)
Improved- Permission checks always apply. Permission and ownership checks are now enforced at all times, with no setting that can turn them off, and requests presenting an invalid key are rejected outright. Unused public customer routes were withdrawn.
- Credentials and personal details kept out of system records. Diagnostic records are now cleaned of credentials and personal data at any depth before they are stored, while keeping the reference identifiers support needs to trace a case. Retention of those records is capped at 90 days.
Everyday fixes and polish (all apps)
Improved- Lists that refresh when they should. Bookings and leads lists now refresh after an alert is resolved, and tab selection is kept in the address bar so returning to a record reopens the tab you were on.
- Clearer empty states and import messages. Searches with no matches now show a proper empty state instead of a bare message, and bulk imports explain clearly when a row refers to a user who already exists but is not a customer. Imported customer addresses are now filed against the right record.
- Partner case references. Case references coming from an integrated partner are now read and handled correctly, so linked records match on both sides.
- Behind the scenes. All four web apps were brought up to date on their underlying platform and security patches, including a credential-leak fix in a networking component. Day-to-day behaviour is unchanged; the apps are simply on current, supported foundations.
