Frequently asked questions about Sodtrack

The questions enterprise buyers ask us most often during evaluation, organized so executives, operations leaders, and IT can find answers fast.

Product

What Sodtrack does and who it is for.

What is Sodtrack?

Sodtrack is an AI-powered field service management (FSM) platform. It coordinates scheduling, real-time dispatch, route optimization, lead management, mobile field execution, product lifecycle, WhatsApp customer agents, integrations, and analytics for enterprises that send technicians into the field. Customers use Sodtrack to run installations, after-sales service, inspections, assistance, and maintenance at scale across employed, contracted, and blended workforces.

Who is Sodtrack for?

Sodtrack is built for enterprises and high-volume mid-market operations that dispatch 50 or more technicians per day. Typical buyers are VPs and Directors of Operations, dispatch teams, and revenue leaders in home improvement retail, insurance assistance, energy and utilities, telecommunications, contracting, and manufacturing after-sales. We support employed, contracted (1099), and blended workforces in one platform.

What problem does Sodtrack solve that a CRM or ERP does not?

CRMs are systems of record for customer relationships; ERPs are systems of record for finance and inventory. Neither was designed to dispatch a technician through traffic at 2:15 PM. Sodtrack is the system of execution: it owns scheduling, dispatch, routing, and mobile execution, integrates with your CRM and ERP, and gives operations leaders the tools that purpose-built field workflows require.

Pricing & commercial model

How Sodtrack is priced and what is included.

How is Sodtrack priced?

Sodtrack uses an order-based pricing model rather than per-seat licensing. Pricing scales with operational output (jobs, orders, leads) rather than headcount, which means adding a technician does not add a license fee. Detailed pricing is available on the pricing page or via a 30-minute briefing with sales.

Are implementation services extra?

Standard onboarding is included with most subscriptions. Sodtrack ships with pre-built field workflows that configure in weeks instead of months, so you do not need a multi-quarter consulting engagement. For complex multi-country rollouts we offer guided onboarding programs and partner-led implementations.

Do you offer multi-year or volume agreements?

Yes. Enterprise customers typically sign 12 to 36 month agreements with committed volumes that earn unit-price reductions and locked rates. Multi-country and multi-business-unit agreements consolidate purchasing across the parent organization.

Deployment & implementation

How fast Sodtrack goes live and what it takes from your team.

How long does a Sodtrack implementation take?

Most Sodtrack customers reach production in 4 to 12 weeks. The platform ships with pre-built field workflows, so implementations are configurations of existing flows rather than custom development. CRM-extended FSM modules typically take 6 to 18 months because every workflow has to be built from scratch.

What resources do we need from our side?

A typical Sodtrack rollout requires an operations lead as the project sponsor, a dispatch SME, an IT/integrations point of contact, and 4 to 8 hours per week from each across the implementation. We provide the project plan, the workflow templates, the training materials, and dedicated onboarding support.

Can we roll out by region or business unit?

Yes. Most enterprise deployments start with a single country or single business unit, prove ROI in the first 90 days, and expand. Sodtrack supports multi-country and multi-business-unit operations natively, so the rollout pattern is a controlled expansion rather than a re-implementation.

Integrations & data

How Sodtrack connects with your existing systems.

Does Sodtrack integrate with Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics?

Yes. Sodtrack is designed to operate alongside enterprise CRMs and ERPs as a system of execution. We have native or pre-built integrations with Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics. Bi-directional API integrations keep customer data, work orders, inventory, and billing in sync between the system of record and Sodtrack.

Does Sodtrack support WhatsApp, SMS, and email customer messaging?

Yes. WhatsApp is a first-class channel in Sodtrack — including conversational scheduling, confirmations, reschedules, on-the-way messages, and support handoffs. We also support SMS and email and integrate with the most common LATAM messaging providers.

Where is our data hosted?

Sodtrack runs on managed cloud infrastructure with regional data residency options. For more detail, see the Platform Security page or request the security questionnaire response during evaluation.

Workforce & operations

How Sodtrack supports employees, contractors, and blended teams.

Does Sodtrack work for contracted (1099) technicians?

Yes. Sodtrack supports employed, contracted, and blended workforces in one platform. For contracted teams, we cover onboarding, credentialing, certification tracking, dispatch, mobile execution, and contractor reimbursement. Each technician gets the same dispatch UX, with role-specific workflows behind it.

Does Sodtrack support unionized or regulated workforces?

Yes. The platform supports shift constraints, regulated working-hour limits, certifications, and audit trails. Specific compliance requirements (utilities, regulated transport, healthcare) are configurable per industry and per country.

Can Sodtrack work offline?

Yes. The mobile field app is offline-capable by design. Technicians can receive work orders, capture photos and signatures, and complete jobs without connectivity. Outcomes sync as soon as the device returns to network coverage.

Comparisons

How Sodtrack compares to other field service platforms.

How does Sodtrack compare to Salesforce Field Service?

Sodtrack is purpose-built field service software; Salesforce Field Service is a CRM extension. Sodtrack typically deploys 12 times faster, uses order-based pricing instead of per-seat licensing, and has deeper operational capabilities (route optimization, mobile UX, AI-driven dispatch). Most Sodtrack customers keep Salesforce as the CRM system of record and use Sodtrack as the system of execution. See the full comparison at /compare/sodtrack-vs-salesforce-field-service.

How does Sodtrack compare to Odoo Field Service?

Odoo Field Service is an ERP module designed for small to mid-market service operations. Sodtrack is a purpose-built FSM platform for complex enterprise field operations. We see customers replacing Odoo Field Service when they outgrow ERP-coupled scheduling or need advanced route optimization, AI-native workflows, and LATAM-localized features. See /compare/sodtrack-vs-odoo-field-service.

Is Sodtrack only for Latin America?

Sodtrack is headquartered in LATAM and is exceptionally strong there (Chile, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Central America), but the platform is used in North America and is built with multi-country support, multi-currency, multi-language, and regional integrations from day one.
