Provider availability redesigned, new work order filters, and automatic monitor assignment

Setting up when a provider can work was one form doing too many jobs; it is now a set of focused flows for working times, blocked periods and holidays, and Admin follows the same flows. Work orders gain customer, product and stakeholder filters, monitors can be assigned automatically when a booking is created, providers can be created with an avatar, and the scheduling flow in Customer Web was reworked.

Provider availability — redesigned (Network Web, Admin)

New

Setting up when a provider can work was one form doing too many jobs. It has been broken into flows that each do one thing.

  • Working times, rebuilt. A provider's availability is now presented as a card per day, with a dedicated drawer to create new availability times and another to edit the existing ones, instead of one crowded form.
  • Blocking time is its own flow. Blocking a provider's availability now has its own drawer, so blocking a period is no longer tangled up with editing the regular schedule.
  • Holidays. Holidays are managed from their own list, with a drawer to add one and a direct way to remove it. Recurring and specific-year holidays are handled explicitly, and date and time ranges were reworked.
  • Admin follows the same flows. The equivalent screens in Admin were aligned with Network Web, so availability behaves the same wherever you manage it.

Work orders — new filters and default executors (Admin, Network Web, Platform API)

New
  • Three new filters. The work-orders table can now be narrowed by customer, by product and by stakeholder, alongside the filters already there.
  • A default executor. When a work order needs an executor, a default provider is now resolved for it rather than leaving the assignment empty.

Providers — create and update with an avatar (Admin)

New
  • Avatar upload. Providers can now be created and updated together with an avatar image in a single step, and avatar uploads in the creation and edit flows were fixed.

Monitors — assignment without the manual step (Admin)

Improved
  • Automatic assignment. A monitor can now be assigned automatically when a booking is created, instead of someone having to pick one afterwards.
  • Find what has no monitor. Booking filters gain an option for bookings with no monitor, so the ones that slipped through are easy to find.
  • Retiring a monitor. Monitor management adds a retire flow with its own confirmation, alongside the existing deactivate and delete options.
  • Your own monitor status. Navigation now surfaces your own monitor status.

Component orders — see where a fulfillment came from (Admin, Network Web)

Improved
  • Origin work order. The fulfillments list and detail now show the work order a fulfillment originated from, so a component order can be traced back to the job that caused it.

Alerts — control over when a definition can be activated (Admin)

Improved
  • Activation requirements. A definition now states what it still needs before it can be activated, so an incomplete alert can't be switched on by mistake.
  • Rule ordering and conditions. Rules can be ordered explicitly, and several rule-condition behaviours were corrected.

Partner integrations — project search and identification-number filters (Platform API)

Improved
  • Project search. Integrated partners can now search projects directly, and customer and stakeholder searches accept an identification-number filter.

Scheduling (Customer Web)

Improved
  • Reworked scheduling and rescheduling. The flow end customers go through to schedule and reschedule a work order was reworked.

Fixes & polish

Improved
  • Rescheduling no longer blocks itself. When rescheduling a booking, its own current time is no longer counted as unavailable.
  • Numbers that follow your locale. Number and currency formatting now reacts to a language change as it happens.
  • Clearer error messages. Error messages across the apps now use a consistent, more visible style for problems that need attention.
  • Quota warnings where they belong. The missing-quota warning is now shown only on work orders, where it is actionable.
  • Work order quota without company restriction. A provider's work order quota is now visible without being restricted by company.
  • Date ranges in tables. A table date cell showing a start and end range now renders correctly when one end is missing.
  • Bulk product loading. Validation of an already-existing product during bulk product loading was corrected.
  • Warehouse and movement addresses. Extra address detail now also appears on warehouse and movement records.
  • Links you can actually open. A hyperlink to another module is now shown only if you have permission to open its destination.
  • Booking export. The booking export now includes monitor information.
  • Movements with a partial name. A movement's customer can now be recorded with just a first name or just a last name.
