A full detail view for every product unit, working alert rules, and monitor reassignment

Every product unit now has its own detail view — what it is, what it was acquired with, its base and extended warranties, and every work order it has been through. Alert definitions gain working rules and an activity log, monitors can hand their bookings to another monitor, and work order service variants can be tied to a workflow and a scope-of-work template.

Product units — a full detail view (Admin)

New

The product unit detail view has been built out. Where it previously showed little more than the unit's own attributes, it now answers the questions people actually ask about a piece of equipment.

  • Basic information. A dedicated basic-information tab gathers what the unit actually is, and location columns now carry the full address plus any extra address detail your team recorded.
  • How it was acquired. An acquisition card on the unit shows the acquisition it came in on.
  • Warranties at a glance. Separate cards show the base warranty and any extended warranties on the unit, and the layout adapts depending on whether the unit carries a warranty at all.
  • Every work order on this unit. A work orders tab lists the full service history of the unit, with its own filters, toolbar and removable filter chips — so you can see everything that has ever been done to that specific piece of equipment.

Alerts — rules and an activity log (Admin)

New

The Alerts module shipped its definitions last release. Those definitions can now be given the rules that decide when an alert actually fires.

  • Rules you can actually build. The rule drawers on a definition are now fully working: add a rule or edit an existing one, in place of the placeholders that shipped with the module. Editing asks for confirmation first, since it changes when the alert fires from that moment on.
  • Rule types for different questions. A rule can compare a number, match text, watch elapsed minutes so you can catch work that is taking too long, or target a specific service variant.
  • Rules built on your own forms. A rule can point at a dynamic form and then at a specific field inside it, so alerts can be driven by the data your team captures in the field rather than by fixed system attributes.
  • Combine conditions. Several conditions can be combined on a single rule with and/or logic, so a definition can express a real operational situation instead of a single threshold.
  • Activity log. Each alert definition now keeps a log of what changed on it and when, so a definition's history is auditable.

Monitors — hand bookings to another monitor (Admin)

New

Monitors gained activation and lifecycle management two releases ago. The missing piece — what happens to the bookings — is now covered.

  • Reassign bookings. A reassignment drawer lists a monitor's bookings and moves them to another monitor, either one at a time or all at once, with a confirmation step before anything changes.
  • Confirmation before deactivating or deleting. Deactivating and deleting a monitor each got their own confirmation dialog, so the bookings still attached to it are dealt with deliberately rather than left behind.

Work order service variants — associate workflows and scope templates (Admin)

New
  • Associate a workflow. A tab on the service variant lets you search for and associate a workflow, with the associated workflow shown in its own table.
  • Associate a scope-of-work template. A second tab does the same for scope-of-work templates, so the right item template is applied whenever that variant is used. A template can also be chosen while creating the variant.
  • Know when a variant is incomplete. A service variant with no workflow associated is flagged with a clear warning, so gaps are visible before an order is created against it.
  • Controlled rollout. Both associations are gated by user permission and by configuration, so they appear only where they have been enabled.

Component orders — filter the fulfillments list (Admin, Network Web)

Improved
  • Status and type filters. The fulfillments list gains the filters it was missing: filter by status and by type, with active filters shown as removable chips and a reworked toolbar.
  • Consistent dates. Dates across the fulfillment views now use one consistent format.

Preferences — now on every app (Customer Web, Provider Web)

Improved
  • The same preferences everywhere. Customer Web and Provider Web now use the same Preferences as Admin and Network Web, bringing appearance and language together in one place.
  • Language that keeps your place (Provider Web). Changing the language no longer sends you back to the start — the page you were on and any filters you had applied survive the switch.

Warranties — fewer ways to get it wrong (Admin)

Improved
  • No double-associating a product. When associating products to a warranty, a product already associated with another warranty is now shown as unavailable.
  • Accurate base-warranty flag. Whether an associated product carries a base warranty is now reported correctly.
  • Coverage validation. Warranty coverage is now validated, so a unit that isn't actually covered is caught rather than assumed.

Access control across more modules (Admin)

Improved
  • More modules honour permissions. Access can now be granted separately for component-order fulfillments, acquisitions, scope of work, and work order notes and attachments, and operational write actions on a work order are protected by their own write permission.
  • Dynamic form associations. Dynamic form associations are gated by configuration, so they appear only where they have been enabled.

Fixes & polish

Improved
  • No more lost booking requests. A booking request could be lost when several networks were involved in the same request. It is now handled correctly.
  • Service variant survives reassignment. Reassigning a booking to a different provider no longer drops the service variant that was chosen.
  • A fuller list of who can be assigned. When assigning a work order, the provider list now also resolves people belonging to parent networks, so the picker offers everyone genuinely eligible rather than only those directly attached.
  • Address extra detail. Extra address information now travels with the address wherever it is shown, instead of stopping at the street line.
  • More precise scheduling quotas. Quota searches can now be bounded by a minimum start and end time.
  • One consistent services filter. Choosing services now behaves identically across the screens that use it, through a single shared filter.
